Found Purse

A few years ago, I worked for a police force as a civilian and while I was walking down a street near the city centre I found a lady's purse, full of cash, bank cards, everything. It was obvious it had not been there long, it was just sitting on the pavement. I could not see anyone as it was a quiet residential street. I looked through it to see if I could find an address but nothing, only a photograph (who may or may not have been the actual owner) and a name on a card. I handed it in to a local police station and the officer I said he recognized the person in the photo as the mother of one of their staff at that very police station! So glad the owner was able to be reunited with their property.
